This newsletter provides the most up-to-date information about road construction in the City limits and traffic impacts caused by these projects:

New Traffic Alerts

Pioneer Street -  March 4-6: A single-lane closure will be in effect Monday, March 4, 8 PM to Tuesday, March 5, 2 PM and again on Wednesday, March 6 from 8 AM-2PM on Pioneer Street, just east of the S 56th Place roundabout. This work will allow for Northwest Natural to complete gas tie-in for nearby construction.

Ongoing Traffic Impacts

S Union Ridge Parkway: No Parking on Union Ridge Parkway immediately north of S 5th Street during construction work for the Pioneer Street Extension Project. The contractor is using the area for staging. Please use caution in the area.

S Royle Road - February 26 - March 15: A single lane closure with flagging during work hours, 7 AM to 5 PM on S Royle Road between Wells Drive/15th Street and 5th Street Monday, February 26 - Friday, March 15, 2024. This closure will allow utility, irrigation, and sidewalk prep work to occur for Phase 2 of Royle Road Corridor Improvements.
