279th Street - September 9-October 4: Single lane closure with flagging in effect Monday, September 9 - Friday, October 4 from 7 AM to 5 PM on N 279th Street between NW 5th Avenue and NE 14th Court . The road will be fully open at night. This closure is to allow for culvert installation. 

S Royle Road - September 9-13: A single lane closure with flagging will be in effect Monday, September 9 - Friday, September 13 from 7 AM to 5 PM on S Royle Road between Wells Drive/15th Street and 5th Street. 

Pioneer Street

September 9-12: A single lane closure with flagging will be in effect on Pioneer Street between 47th Avenue and 53rd Place Monday, September 9 - Thursday, September 12 from 9 AM-2:30 PM and 8 PM-5 AM. Both lanes will remain open during rush hours and school bus schedules to reduce inconvenience for community members.

If possible, consider using alternate routes during lane closure hours and be patient with brief delays if traveling on Pioneer. These mid-day and overnight lane closures will allow for utility relocation work required for the Pioneer Widening project.

The previously scheduled weekend closure of Pioneer Street is canceled. Thank you to the Pioneer Widening Project Team and contractor for their efforts to keep Pioneer Street open during this phase of the project. By opting for weekday lane closures, the team is balancing the need for progress with minimizing community impact.

Ongoing: Intermittent flagging and temporary advisory speed of 30 mph on Pioneer Street between 53rd Place and 47th Avenue for the Pioneer Widening and Discovery Drive Roundabout project. Expect short delays.
