Visit Downtown Ridgefield on Saturday, December 7 for Ridgefield’s Hometown Celebration where you will find twinkling lights, decorated businesses, gifts, food, and holiday specials.

Check items off your list at vendors in our outdoor marketplace and in Downtown shops. Enjoy decorations and lights throughout Downtown and in our Circle of Trees at Overlook Park. Bring the family to complete winter and holiday inspired crafts and meet Santa. End the day by attending the Tree Lighting in the heart of Downtown and enjoying food and warm drinks in local restaurants and food carts. The Circle of Trees Decorating Contest returns for another year! Ridgefield businesses and organizations will have the opportunity to decorate a tree for the public to vote on starting at 9 AM on December 7.

YMCA Breakfast with Santa - RACC Commons,
9 AM - 11 AM

Join the YMCA for breakfast catered by Chick Fil A and get your pictures taken with Santa Claus. 

Bring a new unwrapped toy for our giving tree or a suggested donation of $15 per family to have breakfast and pictures taken with Santa. All toys will be donated to the Ridgefield Family Resource Center.

Kids Crafts & Activities Stations - RACC Gym, 9 AM - 2 PM

Join several local organizations and the City of Ridgefield with kid friendly activities and crafts, free of charge! Activities include: carnival games, cookie decorating, face painting, card making, cultural crafts and coloring pages, and a softball activity.

Ridgefield Art Association's annual Chickadee Bazaar returns another year! Check out the arts and crafts, handcrafted by local artists. Members Only Registration

Walk & Knock Food Drive
The Walk & Knock Food Drive coordinated by the Ridgefield Lions Club collects approximately 250,000 lbs. of food on this important day.  About 8-12,000 lbs. of food are collected right here in our Ridgefield Community.  The food collected helps feed the hungry throughout our county until about April of the following year.
