Ridgefield Traffic Impacts

This newsletter provides the most up-to-date information about road construction in the City limits and traffic impacts caused by these projects:

S 56th Place - May 21: A single lane closure will be in effect 7 AM - 5 PM on Wednesday, May 21 on S 56th Place between Pioneer Street and S 6th Way  to allow contractors to complete repairs for Clark Regional Wastewater District.

Pioneer Street - Lane Closures and Shifts - May 19 - mid-August: Secondary lanes of Pioneer Street between Discovery Drive and Royle Road closed. This includes the eastbound right-turn only lane onto S 47th Ave (Discovery Ridge/Rosauers), the westbound left turn onto S 47th Ave and the westbound right lane entering the Royle and Pioneer roundabout. Headed westbound, left turns onto S 47th Ave (Discovery Ridge/Rosauers) are prohibited.

I-5 Lane Closures - May 12 - May 23: Periodic nighttime (8 PM - 5:30 AM) lane closures in effect on I-5 near Exit 14 for Pioneer Street/Ridgefield on weeknights Monday, May 12 through Friday, May 23 to allow a city contractor to install safety screening on the Pioneer Street I-5 Overpass. Single lane and sidewalk closures will also be in effect on Pioneer Street between 65th Avenue and 56th Place during installation. Lane closures will shift dependent on work area, please slow down and stay focused when traveling through the work zone. The protective screening will also include Sandhill Cranes to match the ones recently installed in Downtown Ridgefield.

S 4th Way and S 21st Place - April 21 - June 20: Single lane closure in effect on S 4th and S 21st Place from April 21 to June 20, 7 AM to 5 PM, to allow for installation of electrical and construction associated with Ridgefield Heights. 

Discovery Drive/Pioneer Canyon - CLOSED: Discovery Drive/Pioneer Canyon Drive is CLOSED between Pioneer Street and 53rd Place to allow the contractor to complete underground utilities, walls, lighting, roadway, curbs. fencing and sidewalk.
