Ridgefield Traffic Impacts

This newsletter provides the most up-to-date information about road construction in the City limits and traffic impacts caused by these projects:

S 15th St - August 5 and 6: Single lane closure in effect on Tuesday, August 5 and Wednesday, August 6 from 7 AM to 7 PM on S 15th St at S 38th Ct to allow a contractor to complete subgrade prep for the Quail Ridge subdivision.

S 21st Place and S 4th Way: Single lane closures will be in effect Friday, July 11 -  Saturday, August 30 on S 21st Place and S 4th Way to allow the contractors to pour curb and pave for the Ridgefield Heights subdivision.

Pioneer Street Lane Shift: Secondary lanes of Pioneer Street between Discovery Drive and Royle Road will be closed 24/7 to allow the contractor to widen the road and complete improvements now until mid-August - one lane in either direction will remain open. The closure includes the eastbound right-turn only lane onto S 47th Ave (Discovery Ridge/Rosauers), the westbound left turn onto S 47th Ave and the westbound right lane entering the Royle and Pioneer roundabout. Headed westbound, left turns onto S 47th Ave (Discovery Ridge/Rosauers) will be prohibited. These changes will impact the lanes available at the Royle Road and Pioneer Street roundabout. Please slow down (25 mph work zone speed limit) and pay close attention to signage, cones, lane markings and flaggers.

Discovery Drive/Pioneer Canyon - CLOSED: Discovery Drive/Pioneer Canyon Drive is CLOSED between Pioneer Street and 53rd Place to allow the contractor to complete underground utilities, walls, lighting, roadway, curbs. fencing and sidewalk.
