City of Ridgefield is Accepting Applications for Parks Board

The City of Ridgefield is seeking dynamic and self-motivated City residents to serve on the Ridgefield Parks Board. The Parks Board is comprised of seven volunteer citizens who advise the City Council on parks planning, parks acquisition, and parks operations and maintenance within the current and future city limits of the City of Ridgefield.

Parks Board members serve three year terms, attend meetings at 6:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month and are active in the community. Eligible members shall include residents, property owners and business owners within the urban growth area of the city and citizens residing within the boundaries of the Ridgefield school district.

Thank you to all who applied for appointment to Ridgefield Parks Board. At the City Council meeting on Thursday, August 26 Bruce Carpenter and Jake Bredstrand were appointed to Positions 5 and 7 respectively.
