Short story writer Dan T. Cox will appear at the Lava Java coffee café                        in Ridgefield, Friday March 30 from 7:30 to 9:30 am

RIDGEFIELD, WA, USA – Lava Java Coffee Café will host a book signing event featuring local short fiction author Dan T. Cox, whose debut book is titled A Bigger Piece of Blue.

Kirkus Reviews had this to say about Cox’s book: “A well-crafted debut…Cox creates an impressive array of characters and voices, including the illegitimate daughter of Rita Moreno, and he pulls them all off elegantly. His characters are imperfect, often scarred, and always struggling—and therefore believable. Cox not only constructs immediate, vibrant scenes, but also widens his focus to show the effects of specific choices over lifetimes.”

Cox recently appeared on KATU-TV’s morning program, AM Northwest, to discuss is book. To learn more about A Bigger Piece of Blue/Stories, or to connect with the author, please visit: www.dantcox.com.

Lava Java, known for world-class barista skills, is located at 2 South 56th Place, Suite 102, Ridgefield, WA, just off of Pioneer Street.
