A note regarding the Community Events Calendar and COVID-19:

Clark County is in Phase 2 of the Safe Start program. In this Phase, gatherings are limited to 5 people outside of your household. While we have tried to keep our Community Events Calendar updated, there may be events listed that have since been cancelled. Please check with event hosts/venue prior to planning attendance and follow all local health guidelines.

    The annual Friends of the Refuge festival is going virtual this year! Learn about the culture and history of our area and how it affects how we use the land, impress your friends when you can identify backyard birds and their call, enjoy crafts and Bluegrass music.

    Test Your Knowledge with a Refuge Trivia Night from 7PM-9PM on Friday, October 2nd. Register your team for this exciting Zoom trivia event at www.ridgefieldfriends.org/birdfest-bluegrass/

    Learn About the Refuge with a full day of engaging videos covering What Makes the Refuge Home, Bird Language, Plankhouse Tours, Ethnobotany, Crane Tours, and more! Find these all on the Ridgefield BirdFest Facebook page!

    Engage the Kids with a fun Craft and Activity packet with materials and instructions to make a tambourine, Bird Binoculars, and a Bird Feeder! Color your own Bird Book and try out a new Scavenger Hunt. Packets will be available for no-contact pick-up while supplies last beginning Friday, October 2nd.  Find craft instructional videos on our Virtual First Saturday page!

    Create and Improve Your Skills with a Watercolor Painting Workshop available on our Virtual First Saturday page!

    Starting a few days before Halloween, you will find Downtown Ridgefield fully “Halloween-bombed” with creepy crawlers, spooky decorations, and other Halloween haunts.

    For some spooktacular fun, hop in your car and explore the town with our drive-thru Halloween Scavenger Hunt!
