State of the City

Ridgefield High School Performing Arts Center

The public is invited to Ridgefield’s 2020 State of the City address. Mayor Don Stose will discuss last year’s achievements, inform you about current and future projects and provide a very warm “Welcome to Ridgefield.”

Doors open at 5:30PM for network and snacks.
Formal presentation begins at 6PM.

Encourage a lifetime of creativity! Explore the downtown Arts Quarter, see performing arts, take an arts class, visit the kids arts & crafts activity center and help kick-off Ridgefield Youth Arts Month.

10-2PM Art Fair @ Ridgefield Community Center
Express Yourself! Engaging hands-on activities for kids of all ages and adults too. Featuring Ridgefield Community Library, Ridgefield Art Association and Ridgefield School District artists & staff.

  • Dance, vocal and theater performances with DanceFusion and MORE!
  • Live art demonstrations.
  • Farmer’s Market & First Saturday vendor fair.

AROUND TOWN
Art Puzzle Scavenger Hunt: Pick up your game board at the Community Center. Find puzzle pieces at participating merchants around town to create a work of art.

Arts Quarter Passport: Pick up your passport at the Community Center. This is a month long activity sponsored by Ridgefield Main Street.

Youth Art Displays: Enjoy youth artwork at participating merchants.

EVENING ENTERTAINMENT
Night Shift: Restaurants, pubs and Old Liberty Theater are open with special activities, music, food & beverages.

Youth Arts Month represents a partnership between Ridgefield School District and the Ridgefield community encouraging young people to take part in artistic endeavors including literary, visual, musical, and performing arts.

Youth Arts Month happens throughout the month of March with events taking place at all five district schools as well as at community businesses and organizations.
