The recent winter weather we had in Ridgefield caused many trees to lose limbs or fall. To help with the clean up after this event, we are offering free yard debris drop off on Saturday, February 27th.
Where: Abrams Park
When: Saturday, February 27th, Noon-3PM
What: Free Green Yard Debris Drop Boxes for Ridgefield residents.
Please note: Residents are responsible for transporting and unloading their own yard debris into the designated drop boxes. City Councilors will be onsite, but there will be no equipment to help lift and/or unload heavy trees or limbs. Please come prepared to unload your debris. This event is for GREEN YARD DEBRIS ONLY – this may include tree limbs or branches. NO GARBAGE DROP OFF.
*In years past we have been able to offer a Spring Clean Up event in April. Last year the event was cancelled due to COVID-19. We are working on organizing a 2021 Spring Clean Up Event, however due to the partnerships and resources needed to put on the event it will not be until later in the year. Please return to our website for updates.
