Want to know more about the Organics service available in Ridgefield? Sign up for the virtual Organics 101 class.
During the class, you’ll learn what is and is not accepted in the organics cart and why; how to maintain your cart and pail to keep them clean; and where this material goes after leaving the curb. These classes are offered through a partnership with Clark County Public Health, Vancouver Solid Waste and Waste Connections of Washington.

The third session in the Green Business Workshop Series will be focused on managing hazardous waste. It can be difficult to know what is and isn’t considered a hazardous material, and how to ensure your business is managing and disposing of it properly. In this session, Dee Williams, hazardous waste expert from the Washington State Department of Ecology, will be joining us to clarify these things and share tips for reducing the amount generated in your business. The session will be interactive, and we encourage attendees to ask questions and engage with the presenter.
