Meet Me on Wednesdays is a NEW community event program starting in the Spring of 2022! The mission of Meet Me on Wednesdays is to bring active adults to Downtown Ridgefield to enjoy healthy exercise (walk, run, pedal, roll), experience the natural beauty and history of the Downtown, and to appreciate and patronize local businesses.

Kids in strollers, well behaved leashed dogs, and people of all abilities are welcome.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Check in at Overlook Park at 10AM with a Meet Me on Wednesdays coordinator. The coordinator will let you know the week’s featured meeting place and have printouts available of the day’s featured route.
2. Set out on your route – follow the featured route or create your own path. The featured route will have wayfinding arrows posted throughout the way to assist with directions.
3. Return to Downtown Ridgefield and socialize with other Meet Me on Wednesdays participants at the week’s featured meeting place.

May 18: Waterfront Route, meeting place is Pioneer Street Cafe (Breakfast and Lunch)

May 25: History Walking Tour, meeting place is Season’s Coffee Shop (Hot and cold drinks, pastries, ice cream)

June 1: Abrams Park Route, The Birds and the Beans Coffee Shop

June 8: Downtown Route, Zebrun’s Starliner

June 15: Art Walk with the Ridgefield Art Association! This walk will be led by RAA Member Barbara and will tour artwork in Downtown. Meeting place: Musicians in the Park

June 22: Waterfront Route, Musicians in the Park

June 29: Dog Park Route, Musicians in the Park

July 6: John Hudson Route, Musicians in the Park

July 13: Gleaners/Family Resource Center Walk led by the Ridgefield Gleaners and Ridgefield Family Resource Center, Musicians in the Park

July 20th: Meet Me on Wednesdays Urban Orienteering Route, Musicians in the Park

Join us Wednesdays in the Downtown Arts Quarter!

We are excited to partner with the Ridgefield Art Association to put on Musicians in the Park, a weekly series of lunch-time performances by local musicians at Overlook Park.

Come to Overlook Park, at the corner of Pioneer St and Main Ave, each Wednesday for a music filled lunch hour. Please feel free to bring a picnic lunch or pick up take out from Downtown restaurant. There will be a few benches and picnic tables, but we encourage you to bring your own folding chairs as well.

It’s Trivia Night @ Three Brothers! Join us every Saturday about 6PM for a night of wine, food, and FUN!
