The mission of Meet Me on Wednesdays is to bring active adults to Downtown Ridgefield to enjoy healthy exercise (walk, run, pedal, roll), experience the natural beauty and history of the Downtown, and to appreciate and patronize local businesses.
Kids in strollers, well behaved leashed dogs, and people of all abilities are welcome.

The Mystic Mama Band is a Northwest Blues band featuring the vocals of Jenny Moriarty and her bluesy musician friends, including Robbie Laws on guitar, Ben Partain on keyboards, Greg Damico on bass, Stephen Weinstein on drums and Eric Rabe on sax. Playing at Sportsman’s Public House (121 N Main St) on Saturday, June 4 from 8PM to 11PM. No Cover Charge.

Union Ridge Elementary students will be parading through downtown Ridgefield representing a variety of cultures that are being studied in the classroom. Please join us on Tuesday, June 7 from 10:00am to 10:30am to celebrate world cultures!
The parade will begin in the Union Ridge parking lot on N 5th Ave, take a right and head toward Division St, then take a left on Division and walk west to N 3rd Ave. At N 3rd Ave, the parade will turn left and continue south until Simons St, taking a right to travel back to the Union Ridge Parking lot on N 5th Ave. An announcer will be at Davis Park on N 3rd Ave and will present the grade level themes as the parade passes through.
Road Closure: The portions of street that are in the parade will be closed from 9:45am to 10:45am on Tuesday, June 7. This includes:

Meaningful Movies of Ridgefield announces their next movie, Bring Her Home.
Bring Her Home follows three Indigenous women as they work to vindicate and honor their relatives who are victims in the growing epidemic of missing and murdered Indigenous women.
Join us for a discussion after the film lead by Duana Johnson, lead administrator for MMIWUSA and Karyn Kameroff, Program Coordinator for the Cowlitz Indian Tribe.
The event will be Saturday, June 11, at the Old Liberty Theater in Ridgefield, and the movie starts at 7:00pm. Donations are welcome.

Come to Overlook Park, at the corner of Pioneer St and Main Ave, each Wednesday for a music filled lunch hour. Please feel free to bring a picnic lunch or pick up take out from Downtown restaurant. There will be a few benches and picnic tables, but we encourage you to bring your own folding chairs as well.
