The City of Ridgefield is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the annual Make A Difference Awards, recognizing individuals and organizations who have made a meaningful impact in our community.
Each year, the Make A Difference Awards celebrate those who have gone above and beyond to serve Ridgefield through volunteerism, leadership, and acts of kindness. Community members are encouraged to submit nominations for those who exemplify a commitment to helping others in need, improving our neighborhoods, creating community and making Ridgefield a better place to live.
“The spirit of Ridgefield is defined by the people who care about our community and show up every day to support it. It’s the volunteers and organizations who dedicate their time and energy to making our community a better place” said Mayor Matt Cole. “These awards provide an opportunity to recognize and celebrate their contributions.”
Nominations are open now and will be accepted through Friday, February 21. A complete nomination should include a brief description of why you are nominating the individual/group, specifically what they did in 2024 to make a difference in Ridgefield. Any individual, group, or organization that has positively impacted Ridgefield is eligible for nomination.
