Staffing
The Ridgefield Police Department works hard to serve our community by providing 24-hour coverage for the seven square miles of the city that about 13,600 residents call home. The Police Department is comprised of nine police officers, three sergeants, a lieutenant, the Chief, and two non-commissioned staff members.
Recognition
Recently, Ridgefield was named one of the safest cities in the state and the Ridgefield Police enjoyed an extremely high satisfaction rate in our most recent citizen survey.
