The City of Ridgefield is kicking off the multi-year initiative to update the City’s long range planning document, the Ridgefield Comprehensive Plan. There will be numerous ways to get involved in the process. The first step is to ask community members what their vision for Ridgefield is in the year 2045!
Ridgefield’s City Council will be guiding the project and will hold their first work session on January 25th from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at the Ridgefield Administrative and Civic Center (510 Pioneer Street). Following the kickoff, councilors will be hosting community conversations with groups across the city to hear what community members feel makes Ridgefield special today and what they would like to see change in the future.
If you are interested in having a councilor hold a community conversation with your friends, neighbors, or other groups, please contact Julie Ferriss at City.Clerk@ridgefieldwa.us to schedule a time or download the instructions to host your own community conversation here (PDF).
You can also take our questionnaire to tell us about what’s working in Ridgefield and what you would like to see changed.
